Beauty: Week 114

I took this photo on holiday in France last week. It was dark, they sky was clear and we were looking at the moon and the stars whilst sitting outside having a glass of wine. Then we remembered the telescope so we went to get it and see if it would work.

Looking through the telescope at the moon was absolutely amazing. The beauty was breathtaking. Honestly, you could see such amazing detail, especially around the edges where the craters were amazingly clear.

I wondered to myself whether or not it would work if I used my phone to take a photo through the telescope. This picture is the result! I would say that it worked. I am so pleased that I am able to share with you what I saw.
