I passed!

I have officially kept my first New Year's Resolution by passing my Economics exam. Yes, you read that right. I PASSED! I will admit, in fact, I will whisper, that I only just passed. I got a D-, half a point off a D but hey, a pass is a pass right?

I still don't know if I have the intelligence to pass next year, or even this year for that matter. So I don't know if I'll be able to complete a PPE degree, it might have to be a PP degree. I'll have to wait and see how I do in the end of year exams. The demoralised feeling is starting to pass, albeit slowly.

I think I'm at a major disadvantage in being so much older than the other students. Mainly because I haven't done any maths in fourteen years or had to make it think in that kind of logic. Even down to the exams we sit. I have done plenty of further education, but all in essay form, no multiple choice exams. I shouldn't be given choice, it just confuses me!

For now, I'm concentrating on the next exam in a few weeks. I don't have much free time before then what with a trip down to Kent for a wedding this weekend, then a first birthday, followed swiftly by a third birthday. So I need to work really, really hard in all the spare time that I have.
