Sudocrem Sunscreen Mousse review
We were sent some Sudocrem sun cream mousse to review. I waited for the sunshine before doing the review because I thought that was the only way I would know whether or not it worked! So yesterday as the sun came out, I grabbed the bottle! It is easy to get out of the bottle, be careful though because it expands once it is out so you will need less than you think! Whilst I was unsure of whether or not I have sufficiently covered my son in the mousse, he showed no signs of having caught the sun, so I must have done.
What they say:
Four-star UVA protection offers a superior level of defence against the rays that contribute to longer-term damage. Most skin and sun care experts recommend four or five star UVA protection as the minimum to look out for in a sunscreen.
And the mousse format means that, unlike many high factor products, it’s quick and easy to rub in – perfect if you have wriggling, impatient little ones.
For paddling, swimming and splashing-mad kids, the mousse comes with the highest level of water resistance achievable in a sun care product.
Good points:
You only need to apply it two to three times a day, which is great.
It is quick to apply.
The level of protection for your child is fantastic.
Bad points:
Quite hard to rub in. I found that once the mousse was applied to the body it tended to break down. However, this is possibly just because I am not used to using a mousse.
Maybe if it was coloured then it would be easier to see if you had applied it better.
Would I buy it?
I would consider buying it again. I think if it was easier to rub in then I definitely would buy it. It’s easy to get out and the level of cover is brilliant. It is definitely easier to use than a normal cream and it's much easier to get onto a wriggly child than other products I have used.
