What has made me happy - week thirteen

What has made me happy - week thirteen

This week has been emotional! My little boy started pre-school and, whilst he was fine, I shed a little tear after I had dropped him off. The rest of the week has been spent mainly catching up on washing from whilst we were away and sorting out a huge amount of pre-university admin!

So, here is what has made me happy this week:
  • Lighting a fire in our log burner for the first time ever! This house is the first place we have ever been able to light the fire. It makes the house so cosy with a burning fire.

  • On Friday I went for a trip down to London to attend the Savoo save-up conference (more on that later this week). It gave me a great chance for a night out with my sister and my best friend who lives in Croydon (neither of whom I see very often).

  • I saw this sunset from the train on the way home on Saturday night. We don't really get to see sunsets like this, there are too many hill here!

  • On Sunday we went to the park together. My son has started sliding down backwards when my husband is waiting at the bottom to catch him. The trust and love between the two of them is gorgeous. This was taken at the bottom of the slide as my son reached out for his daddy.
