Paddington Bear at the National Railway Museum.
Whilst my wife spent Saturday (her birthday) travelling to London and back for a twenty-minute interview, I travelled with two children to the National Railway Museum in York to meet Paddington Bear. I know she had been really looking forward to the day and it was a shame she couldn't spend it with us.
There were plenty of activities for children of all ages. The boy is three and the girl is 19 months and they had an absolute ball.
It was really nice to spot the teddy bears all around the museum. Something the boy got into with great enthusiasm!
Both children loved the storytelling. It is so nice to take some time out and just relax when you're spending the rest of the time running around. I loved this idea, a place where you could dress up as Paddington.
We had a fantastic lunch with the other bloggers. The boy was particularly taken with the Paddington Bear biscuits and moving train.
It is free to get into the National Railway Museum although there is a small charge for some of the activities happening this half term.
The event is on for the rest of the week so why not get yourself down there. It is a great opportunity to entertain the children this half term.
