I'm back at uni. It was a blink and you'll miss it summer and I seem to have blinked. D'oh! The weather has been so changeable up here this week, from beautiful sunshine to rain, and back again in an instant. We have been taking an umbrella with us everywhere we go, even in the gorgeous sunshine!
Here is what has made me happy this week:
- The sight of sunshine in the morning from the velux in our bedroom at the top of the house.
- Seeing my boy walking along under his umbrella makes my heart skip! The normally depressing rain has been in such short bursts it has actually been quite good fun!
- My son saying that he didn't like raspberries and then proceeding to eat them all bar two from a bowl which had been filled to the brim. He left those two saying he was "a bit full now"!
- All these items I got from the yearly jumble sale. It is a great place to find bargains. I got two car seats for £2 each and all the items below for £1 in total!
- The beautiful sunshine on Saturday morning. It warms your soul, even when it is cold outside, the clear, crisp autumn mornings are simply stunning.
- The sunshine also brought the bees out to do some work collecting pollen.
- Seeing this lone sheep at the very top of a hill. The sunshine was so bright that I wasn't sure if the photo would work!
- My cat sitting on the fence in the sunshine. The contrast of his ginger and white against the blue of the sky was breathtaking.
- My children playing hide and seek. Do you think that perhaps they were hiding behind the curtains?
It would be great if you want to join in with What has made me happy too.
