The Photo Gallery: Week 125
Colour
These pictures was taken in India a few years ago. I went on holiday with my Grandma to Goa which was fantastic. The markets are so vibrant and the smells manage to somehow get right to the back of your throat, taking over your sinuses. I love how the spices are just displayed so vibrantly. Maybe it is just food being outdoors that makes it look so much more colourful. We are so used to our fruit, vegetables and spices being displayed under synthetic lights and made to look different colours with chemicals in them.
I would love to go back to India with the children but am waiting until their tummies can cope with the change in food!
