What has made me happy - week 26

This week was the final countdown to a break from university. I had one final essay due and an exam on Friday evening. The essay was OK and the exam was annoying, I realised with two minutes to go that I had got one of the answers wrong and I was gutted! Anyway, there is nothing that I can do about it now so I have to let it go and just hope I have passed. My husband and I attended our first ever nativity. I managed not to cry, just. It was so lovely, although slightly surreal. Another one of those moments which confirms you actually are a parent!

Here is what has made me happy this week:
  • Laughing as the children and I tried to get to our car the other day. The street was like an ice rink and we fell more than once. Clinging on and giggling made me feel so carefree!
  • Finishing university! I had an exam on Friday night which didn't go well, but I celebrated finishing term with wine, chocolate and Legally Blonde. You can see why I love that film here.
  • Our son's nativity. He was the innkeeper and managed to make everyone giggle. He only just managed to stop waving at us to say his lines. It was a lovely little production and he did us proud.
  • The Christmas decorations are finally up, along with a tree. I finished the Christmas bunting on Sunday and it looks great, a fantastic addition to the new house.

It would be great if you want to join in with 'What has made me happy' too. Have a think about the little things which have made a difference to your life this week.
