Where is my willpower?

You know when you do something you shouldn't and then you feel bad about it?

Then a bit later on you do it again.

You wonder why other people seem to have willpower but that you have none.

A bit further down the line, you do it again.

This time you beat yourself up about it. You should have known better. Why?

Why do you keep doing the thing you know you shouldn't? What is it in our brains that tells us we are being bad or that we could do so much better?

Feeling regretful for our actions doesn't make us happy. It rarely helps us to learn. So, how about you just do the thing you shouldn't in moderation? Afterall, what's the worst that can happen?

It's only chocolate!

What is your guilty secret? The one you can't help but give in to?
