Before Christmas we were sent a Nurture Box to review. Inside it was One Winter's Day, a picture book with an accompanying CD, an Organics for kids Reversible Bonnet, two pairs of Piccalilly socks, some Bentley Organic Baby Lotion and some Green People Sticky Hand Sanitiser. The book was an instant hit, as was the CD, which is narrated by Justin Fletcher so both children loved it! The socks are a little on the small side but look lovely and warm. The fleecy hat was incredibly snuggly and my daughter loved it. The hand sanitiser has been on many outings with us and now lives in the nappy bag! I have used the body lotion sparingly as both children have very sensitive skin.
What they say
With Nurture Box you will receive a package each month filled with great products for your child and a well-deserved treat for mum. We also donate a proportion of our profits to help less fortunate children across the world.
All the products in our boxes have been carefully hand-selected and tested by our parenting panel to ensure everything we send is top quality and really useful. We do not allow companies to pay to put their products in our boxes, so you can be assured that whatever you receive is a genuine favourite of our parent panel.
A subscription is from £19 – £22 per month and postage is always free. The contents of the box are worth between £35 – £45 per month, meaning you’re getting great value.
Good points
Lovely products in the box.
I liked the idea that you could buy a gift subscription for a friend and surprise them with some beautiful products.
Very nicely packaged and it was clear a lot of thought and attention had gone into choosing the specific items in the box, and made them age appropriate.
Bad points
Not necessarily products that you would choose yourself every month. However, they are good quality and perhaps encourage you to think outside of your comfort zone.
The hat we were sent had a hole in it but we were sent a replacement incredibly quickly.
Would I buy it?
I would definitely consider buying a one-off gift subscription for a friend. However, I couldn't afford to subscribe myself. If I had the money then I would certainly think about it though.
