This week was my last week before going back to university. Unfortunately the snow put paid to my return because I couldn't drive there. Fingers crossed I can get there tomorrow. We had a lovely relaxed week and weekend, making sure that for once, we had absolutely no plans. It has been nice that toddler groups and art groups are back on so that we can get settled into our old routines again.
I have been out and about playing with my new camera which has been very enjoyable. I am a very long way off actually knowing anything about photography but I know which buttons to press to take an 'easy' picture. We have enjoyed the simple pleasures of going to the park as a family and feeding the ducks on the way home.
So, what has made me happy this week:
How about you? What has made you happy, or made a smile spread across your face?

So, what has made me happy this week:
- Treat tea. We had tea upstairs this week as a treat. It went a little bit wrong with apple juice spit all over the carpet, but nice to let them have a picnic upstairs.
- The girl asked for milk in a cup at breakfast. I didn't realise it was to feed her toy cat! Very cute.
- I have clearly been feeling happy this week. The children had smiley muffin pizzas for tea one night. The boy told me he was 'very proud of me'. At the weekend they had smiley sandwiches. It makes me giggle that I clearly express happiness through food!
- Snow makes me happy. Whilst it is annoying and stopped me getting in to university, it is beautiful. Watching thick, fluffy snowflakes falling steadily to the ground makes me surprisingly warm inside!

It would be great if you want to join in with 'What has made me happy' too. Have a think about the little things which have made a difference to your life this week.
