Spring, sunshine and coal - what has made me happy

What has made me happy - week 42

I am not going to lie - this week has been tough. I started a Forever Clean 9 detox last week and it has been hard work. The results are proving that it is worth it, but not eating so much has been difficult. Certainly, the first two days I really struggled with feeling cold and hungry. At least I am on the home straight now and can see the end! In spite of this, I have, as ever, looked for the best things and concentrated on them. So, without further ado, here is what has made me happy this week:
  • Last Tuesday we visited a farm park and the children adored seeing a calf and pigs. The look on the girl's face was a picture!
  • I enjoyed seeing two lambs being born. It was absolutely amazing! I might have shed a sly tear.

  • My daughter lining up coal. Everything went quiet for two minutes. We should have known better! She was filthy.
  • Sunshine! The washing has been out and dried many different times. And it has finally started to warm up. Yesterday I even wore a short-sleeved t-shirt!

It would be great if you want to join in with 'What has made me happy' too. Have a think about the little things which have made a difference to your life this week.
