IKEA pop up in Leeds Trinity today

I am a big fan of IKEA products, but slightly less of a fan of actually visiting IKEA! When I found out that there was going to be an IKEA pop up in Leeds Trinity Shopping Centre today I was really excited. That is, until I realised it was on a Friday, when I have just started co-running a toddler group. As it is a pretty new toddler group, I can't really leave my friend without any help, so I am unable to head down to the pop up.

You will be able to spend time with your family doing a host of different craft activities - even tin-can robot building (which sounds amazing). There are also going to be stories read, or you could try some giggle yoga if you fancy something different. For the green-fingered amongst you, autumn seed planting is also available. All the activities are completely free of charge for you and your family to enjoy.

If you are one of the first 100 children to arrive at the IKEA stand, you will receive a free soft toy voucher to redeem in store. There will also be other offers to take advantage of at IKEA Leeds, as well as IKEA experts being on hand to share tips and tricks to create treasured family moments together.

Scott Renshaw, IKEA Leeds store manager commented: “For IKEA, children are the most important people in the world. We know that families in Leeds have busy lives, so we want to help them to find fun and easy ways to spend more time together without breaking the bank. This is where our expertise of family life in the home helps; it’s not about finding extra time or big spending, but sharing the day to day moments that bring the family together.

In the past month I have completed my first ever online shop from IKEA which was ridiculously easy and probably saved me quite a lot of money (I really don't need candles from the marketplace). It was nice not to have to battle with crowds, although slightly less fun than watching arguing couples!

If you are in or around Leeds today then why not get yourself down to Trinity Leeds, on Albion Street. The pop up is there from 9am - 8pm
