Week 77 - what has made me happy.

The essays are in. I repeat. The essays are in. Last week was one of the most stressful weeks of my life. I felt physically sick every morning when I woke and utterly exhausted. But they are in. Now I need to concentrate on my family. My Grandma has been in hospital for the first procedure to make her a little more comfortable. Hopefully we are still taking her and all heading to Wales on Saturday for Christmas. I am spending this week making Christmas presents and getting into the festive spirit!

Here is what has made me happy this week...
Olaf snowman frozenReindeer
  •  My son's drawing of Olaf, the snowman from Frozen apparently.
  • Seeing reindeer at a Christmas festival we went to on Sunday. I had no idea how long their antlers are.
AntifragileChristmas decorations
  •  Now that my essays are in, I am looking forward to reading this book. I love the slogan Tough times don't last, tough people do.
  • The Christmas decorations in this tiny shopping centre. They are always really beautiful, but this year they have excelled themselves.
Popping candy cupcakesBetty's cream tea
  • Making popping candy rocky road cupcakes. They tasted absolutely amazing when they were warm.
  • A trip to Betty's for cream tea with my husband. The service was a little slow, but it made me appreciate my tea and scone even more.
Rainy sunriseSunrise sheep
  •  Some more beautiful sunrises. I love these views of the sheep in the morning.
