We were recently sent a selection of goodies from Claire's for a Valentine's date night in with my daughter. My husband and I don't celebrate Valentine's Day, so I thought it would be nice to do something as a family instead. Last weekend we went away with friends to the Lake District, so I took our goodies with us to have a proper girls night in. There were five of us in total, although only two adults. My friend Sarah and I used the face masks, I opted for the chocolate masque and Sarah chose the cucumber peel-off masque. Two of the girls wore wonderful leg warmers, which, to be honest, we really needed on a chilly weekend.
We all snuggled down to watch Despicable Me 2, which just happens to be one of my favourite children's films. The boys joined in too and all had a hot chocolate and some M&S coconut mushrooms (seriously, they are amazing). We put my friend's children to bed with the lavender wheat warmer. It's really cute. I am allergic to lavender, so made sure I stayed well clear!
Once the kids were in bed, we made the most of a few alcoholic beverages which we had also treated ourselves to. I would like to thank Claire's for giving us a great opportunity to have a relaxing girl's night in. If you are looking for the perfect accompaniment for a date night in, I would recommend that you take a trip to Claire's, or check out their website.
Disclosure - we received a pack to have a date night in for the purpose of review. This had no impact on my post, which is honest and fair.
