TalkTalk YouView Sky Channels

TalkTalk have just added seven new Sky Channels to TalkTalk Plus TV. I am seriously impressed at the shows which have been added, at no extra charge to customers. The new channels are: Sky 1, Sky Living, Sky Arts1, Sky Arts2, Sky Living, Sky Livingit and Sky Sports News. Plus you can watch Modern Family, Elementary and The Smoke on the additional Sky channels as well as hundreds of hours of on demand primetime shows. I am really looking forward to getting stuck in to some of the dramas on Sky 1. We haven't ever had Sky channels before. These channels are in addition to over 70 freeview channels. Where we live we are only able to get around 30 freeview channels, so it does depend a lot on your signal.

I think the best part for me about the new addition of the sky channels is the on demand feature. Being able to watch Sky channels on demand is fantastic. In face, it's my favourite part of having the YouView box is the catch up service and it's the thing we use the most on our box. The Sky channels which will be on demand will include 100 hours a month of shows. It is refreshed weekly, so you know you are watching the latest shows when you want to.

For the next two months, the Sky Movies Boost is half price, if you sign up by the 23rd of April. The boost offers 11 Sky Movies channels and on demand films for £7.50 per month. There are also hundreds of on demand films.

Tristia Harrison, Managing Director, TalkTalk Consumer commented "TalkTalk is known for offering the best value and giving our customers even more for their money. The addition of these new channels and on demand content marks yet another step towards TalkTalk TV becoming a destination for great value family entertainment. We have a staggering line up of movies, sport, kids and entertainment content available on YouView from TalkTalk this month and can't wait for our customers to enjoy the very best of spring entertainment."

The £18.50 a month Plus TV package includes totally unlimited broadband, anytime phone calls and a YouView+ box which enables seven-day catch-up and the ability to pause, rewind and record individual shows or the whole series. On demand services including iPlayer, ITV player, and 4oD are available on the TV and viewers can rent new release movies through the TalkTalk Box Office.

YouView from TalkTalk is Britain’s fastest growing TV service, with over 700,000 customers just 18 months since it launched. Customers can dip in and out of their favourite shows and movies through flexible monthly Boosts starting from just £5 a month, with no ongoing commitment.

Disclosure: We are TalkTalk Family Bloggers and have received our YouView box for the purpose of review. This had no impact on this post, which is honest and fair.
