Get ready with me on a school day morning!

As I imagine is the case with most of you, mornings can be quite a rush. Ours are very rarely stressful, but it is difficult getting everyone to the correct place at the right time!

Our morning routine is as follows:
7.10 - my alarm goes off. Get ready before
7.30 - kids sun comes up
7.45 - get the girl to the childminder's (she goes in her pyjamas and has breakfast there, so it's quite simple)
8.15 - home again. Make sandwiches for the boy, have breakfast and make sure the boy is dressed.

8.45 - leave the house to get to school on time
9.05 - get back home and head straight out of the door to university

Once I get to university I generally have a cup of tea and, if I haven't had any breakfast then I make sure I grab something.

We were sent some belVita breakfast biscuits to try. I hadn't ever tried them before, so I was interested to see what they tasted like and whether or not they filled me up. Quite often, I have a protein shake for breakfast, which I find fills me up until lunchtime so there is no need to snack. BelVita states that it is the only breakfast biscuit proven to slowly release carbohydrates over four hours as part of a balanced breakfast.

I was quite impressed with the fact that I didn't feel the urge to snack. My favourites were the yoghurt crunch biscuits. However, I found that all of the biscuits were quite dry, so make sure that you eat them along with a drink. They were perfect for dunking in a cup of tea though! I found that dunking them in herbal teas also added to the yummy flavour of the biscuits, and have enjoyed exploring which fruit teas taste best. So far it is jasmine and green tea with the fruit and fibre biscuits. Yummy!

I enjoy watching the get ready with me videos on YouTube, so I thought I would make my own and show what getting ready on a school morning is like. You can see my GRWM video below. I hadn't realised quite how much rushing around I do!
