Poppy Cat Magazine and DVD Review

We were recently sent some copies of Poppy Cat Magazine and also a Poppy Cat DVD to review. Given that I am currently finishing off my exams, it was perfect timing to keep my children entertained whilst I revised!

I was really impressed with the magazines. Both issues came with free gifts, a toy and some stickers. They toys were not aimed at a particular gender which I really approved of and both children played with them. I think if they had been very pink then my son wouldn't have wanted to play with them (or my daughter really because she is obsessed with blue). The magazines had lots of activities inside to keep children entertained. There was colouring, mazes, dot to dot along with stories.

My children are age 3 and 5 and it was suitable for both of them. My daughter (3) loved us reading the stories to her and playing with the toys which came free with it. My son loved the activities and the colouring in, so there really was something for everyone.

The DVD has 11 episodes on it and over two hours of entertainment. The children hadn't ever seen Poppy Cat on TV before, we just have a few episodes on the ipad, so they were excited to watch it on a larger screen. I like Poppy Cat. It's good fun to watch and the adventures are always exciting. My children have had a fantastic time watching these and it has allowed me to get on with some all important revision.

I would highly recommend the magazines and also the DVD.

Disclosure: We were sent these products for the purpose of review. This had no impact on my post, which is honest and fair.
