January was a bit of a mixed bag for me. A few more downs than usual, but pulling myself back out of it and getting on with life. We've had a few guests in, but not too many, and a chance to get back into the swing of things. Post-Christmas our children seemed to be struggling to get back into their normal routines, especially with getting up early in the morning. Luckily they seem to both be sleeping an awful lot better now, which is great for all of us! We went away with friends in January (you can read more about that here) and it was just nice to take a break from the B&B. We have also booked a holiday for this May and I am super excited about it! We haven't ever been abroad to a hotel together and I am sure it's going to be great fun. We've had quite a lot of snow, so booking a holiday in January definitely felt like the right thing to do!
