I have to admit to being slightly jealous when I have watched others drinking fruit and vegetable shakes for breakfast in their YouTube videos. It looked so simple and such an easy way to get goodness into your diet. I was keen to review the JML Nutri Blitzer, a new product on the market to rival all others. I regularly have a protein shake for breakfast, and this seemed like the perfect way to get extra nutrients into that morning shake.

This was a blueberry shake I have had quite a few times. It's a recipe I created, and contains: vanilla shake, a handful of blueberries, coconut milk and a chunk of ginger. I have been drinking this whilst on a detox, so I have had this most days as it works well with the regime I am following!
The Nutri Blitzer comes with a 160 page recipe book included and it is full of fantastic ideas, from shakes to soups to sauces. I have followed a few of the recipes and they worked really well. What I especially love is that you can put all the fruit, skin included into the shake, so you get all the fibre, minerals and goodness from the fruit and vegetables.
To make a shake, you add all the ingredients you want, screw the top on, turn it upside down and place on the base unit. The extraction blades spin at 19,000 rpm, powered by a 700W motor. Everything inside is broken down due to the vortex created inside. I have been seriously impressed at how absolutely everything is broken down! Although I have learned that pomegranate seeds don't break down particularly well due to the hard substance inside.
This has been another favourite shake of mine, kale, mango, ginger, strawberries and coconut milk. I have really enjoyed reviewing the JML Nutri Blitzer and I am going to continue using it every morning. I'm especially looking forward to the season of fruit and veg in our garden. I will be whizzing everything up!
