What a month! We have been through absolutely all the emotions during February. The beginning of the month saw my mother-in-law admitted to hospital with a brain tumour, which was then removed in mid-February. She is still in hospital, but on the mend thankfully. Our cat Bruce had to go to the vets. Within 30 seconds of seeing the vet, he was being assessed for surgery. He had a blocked bladder and even though they managed to clear the blockage, it didn't get better and we had to have him put to sleep. It was so upsetting. We've had him since he was a tiny kitten and he was 11 and has been such a huge part of our family. We all miss him, his sister especially.
A few days after we said goodbye to Bruce we headed off to Disneyland Paris. The children didn't know where we were going until we got about ten minutes away. We had a wonderful time and went on some really amazing rides. I also went a little green on Tower of Terror. After four magical days we came home and back to school. On the first day of school, I had an appointment with the dermatologist and he confirmed that I am now clear of cancer and all the treatment was successful. I am so, so relieved.
Phew, I feel tired just reading that! Here is my month in a minute for February 2016.
