Stickman Games in Grizedale Forest

We recently visited Grizedale Forest as part of our half term adventure in the Lake District (more on that to come soon). I had heard, and seen, so many good things about the Stickman Trails and thought that the children would love to try it out. As it turned out, there was also an Xplorer orienteering event on the same day, so we also took part in that!

If you haben't visited Grizedale Forest before then I would highly recommend it. There are so many different activities and plenty to keep the whole family entertained. As well as the activities you can take part in along the Stickman trail, there are plenty of other intriguing elements to explore.

The trail is easy for little legs to accomplish and the paths are also pushchair and wheelchair friendly. The trail is very well signposted and easy to follow. At each checkpoint there is a either an activity to do or something to look out for in the area. I found that it really helped my children to keep walking, knowing that there would be something up ahead to look out for. My daughter in particular, loved spotting the characters from the book. We had an amazing day out and will definitely be going back again in the future.
