Ready for Autumn thanks to Polarn O. Pyret

The weather is starting to get a little chillier and the leaves are beginning to fall off the trees. I love Autumn, and as much as I am sad to say goodbye to summer, I am happy to embrace the changing seasons. It does, however, mean that it's time to get our lightweight coats out, ready for those cooler days out and, possibly, some wetter weather! Polarn O. Pyret sent my daughter a fabulous lightweight soft shell jacket to put through it's paces.

Polarn O.Pyret coat
The jacket is made in a very stretchy fabric and has a fleece lining for that bit of extra warmth and comfort. It's windproof and can be worn either by itself or underneath a shell jacket. My daughter, as you probably know, doesn't like "girlish" and refuses to wear pink. This coat is fantastic because it's completely unisex and she loves the polar bears on it. She's also a big fan of the thumb holes in the cuffs. The hood detaches and the whole jacket is machine washable.

Climbing trees in Polarn O. Pyret

My daughter has enjoyed exploring woods, reservoirs, sandy banks and climbing up trees so far in her coat. It's been slid down slopes on (much to my distress), but hasn't been damaged in the slightest (thankfully). It's certainly proving to be hard-wearing.

From a safety point of view, this also has a reflective strip on the back, which showed up when my daughter was riding her bike. She hasn't had a jacket with this on before, but it's so useful, even for when we are walking back from school and it's getting darker.

I have never bought from Polarn O Pyret before but will definitely purchase from them in the future. The jacket is very well made, well designed, and a huge hit with my daughter! I love how bright and vibrant it is. She won't be slipping out of our sight in a hurry. Having perused the website, I love loads of the clothes and think they would make great additions to my children's wardrobes. For now, we're ready for Autumn, bring it on!

Disclosure: We were sent this jacket for the purpose of review. This had no impact on my post, which is honest and fair.
