It's been a good week. We had a bonfire night party and birthday party on Saturday night and it was so much fun. We had 25 people over, including 17 children and thankfully everyone had a good time. We played games and made sure the children were entertained. Then I did a firework display with a couple of dads (who were rather worse for wear by this point)! It's so nice to be able to throw a party and fit everyone in. It's definitely one of the perks of living here, although we can only do it out of B&B season. I'm heading down to London today for the Mumsnet event tomorrow and I'm really looking forward to a couple of nights off and catching up with people.
The video I have chosen for this week comes from Sarah from Surrey Mama's channel. She talks about the five things she wishes she'd known before she became a mum. It's a really lovely video and so nice to hear someone else's opinion. Becoming a mum was definitely one of the hardest things I have ever done (although the most rewarding too).
