Disney on Ice Worlds of Enchantment Review

On Wednesday evening, we headed to Leeds to see the opening night show of Disney on Ice World of Enchantment. We've been to see Disney on Ice quite a few times in the past, and always really enjoyed it. I have to admit that this was my absolute favourite show that we have ever seen though! There were four main parts to the show, Toy Story, The Little Mermaid, Cars and Frozen, all interspersed with Mickey Mouse and his friends.

Hans and Anna Disney on Ice
Elsa Disney on Ice

As soon as Anna and Elsa take to the ice, the whole stadium erupts with screams. Then the sing-a-long begins, with pretty much every child around us singing along to the songs. It's a great story, and one which is told incredibly well on ice.

Lightning McQueen on ice

I had seen in the promotional material that there would be Cars characters, but didn't for one second think that would mean that there would actually be real cars on the ice! It was amazing to see them sliding around on the ice, somehow managing not to skid all over the place. I was very impressed, and both children had a lot of fun trying to guess how the cars were being controlled, because you couldn't see any drivers.

Toy Story on Ice

The Toy Story element of the show was my absolute favourite, it was very funny, entertaining and the music was fantastic. There was also a slightly creepy giant children moment, which really made me giggle! It was amazing seeing giant toys like Slinky-Dog on the ice, and Mr and Mrs Potato Head were brilliant too.

Disney on Ice Worlds of Enchantment is on tour until the 6th of May, you can check out their website for ticket information.
