Christmas is Merrier Together with Moonpig

Christmas is Merrier Together with Moonpig, and a couple of weeks ago, I was treated to a taster of what they have on offer this Christmas, and it was an absolutely fantastic day. We headed to Revolution in the centre of Leeds for an afternoon of cocktail making, Christmas card designing and getting crafty too. I love any opportunity to be able to be creative, and it was fantastic that we had wreath making and Christmas sack decorating to do.

Our group was the first to make cocktails, in retrospect, this might have been a bad idea! It was so much fun though, and we really enjoyed learning more about cocktails and how to make them. Amazingly they all turned out looking like they should, and were surprisingly simple to make. It was great to learn how they are made though.

Then it was on to a photobooth to make a Christmas card. Everyone else seemed to do this by themselves, but Lola, Victoria and I had other ideas and decided to make one to send each other! It goes without saying from the pictures below, that we were not particularly adept at the quick costume changes. It was so much fun though and I haven't giggled that much in ages! Moonpig have a fantastic offer on their Christmas cards, where you get 50% off when you buy five cards. It's amazing to be able to personalise the cards and it is a fabulous way to send a family update too!

We then moved on to wreath making, which was really interesting, and I think they looked fabulous at the end! It was nice to have a sit down and a bit of a natter whilst we were being creative. It was fantastic to come back from an event with things that you have made yourself, and more importantly, would still be willing to display in your house!

We then made personalised Santa sacks. I opted to make one for me, as my children would just have fought over it if I made one for only one of them! Honestly, this was one of the most relaxing parts of the day, I could just sit down and concentrate on drawing. It was so nice to simply spend time creating, and we all went very quiet at this point as we concentrated so hard! You can order your own personalised Santa sack from Moonpig's website. They also have amazing toy bags and laundry bags too!

The goody bags we took home were fantastic too, with my very own personalised Christmas mug, a baking kit, a chocolate hot chocolate spoon, and Cartwright and Butler cookies.  I hadn't appreciated just how much you could purchase from Moonpig, it's definitely more than just cards! In fact, you can also get 20%  off  when  you  buy  a  card  and  a  gift  together. Thank you so much to Moonpig for a fabulous event, and to Victoria and Lola for making my afternoon so much fun, proving that Christmas is Merrier Together!
