I'd hoped that November would be a slightly slower pace of life, but it definitely wasn't! It started well though with a fabulous break at Center Parcs in Whinfell. It was amazing to all go away together, especially after a really busy year in the B&B. We have visited once before, and loved it, but neither of the children could remember it. We had so much fun swimming every day and riding on the slides and flumes. It was a really lovely family break. We also had a weekend down in Wales visiting my sister for her birthday and, whilst it was a really long way to go for a party, it was wonderful to see family. December is chaotic, and I love it. I can start to feel festive and fit in a few nights out. Whenever it gets to December I wonder where on earth the year has gone! I'm looking forward to this month though!
