October month in a minute

Well October saw us welcoming our last guests to the B&B for a while. I've decided it is the only way that we can manage to het through eh witter, because I am really not very good at dealing with uncertainty. I also don't like having to wear a mask in my own home whilst we have guests in, or asking the children to wear one either. For me, my home should be somewhere I don't have to wear any kind of face covering!

Galloway Forest Park, Scotland

We were meant to go down to Wales in half term, to spend it with my mum, but were sadly unable to. Instead, we found an incredible place in Scotland and spent a very happy five days there. We saw red squirrels and went out on at least one walk every day. We weren't far from the sea and loved picking shells and special stones to bring home with us. We'll definitely be back to the area again. I even discovered my grandma on my dad's side was born only a few miles from where we were staying!

I celebrated my 39th birthday whilst we were away, and although the day itself was pouring rain, I mostly enjoyed spending time with the family. In spite of the unexpected outcomes, it's been a good month, and I am now starting to look forward to the festive period when we should get to see my mum and sister!

I share these videos over on Instagram with the hashtag #miam and #monthinaminute I'll also still be posting on my blog, just without the linky. If you tag me, I shall still add your videos to my playlist on YouTube. I love seeing these round-ups!
